Vision:


To establish a centre of excellence and generate competent pharmacy professionals for serving the continuously evolving needs of the society and pharmaceutical industry.


Mission:

1. To impart quality education in Pharmacy and to produce pharmacy graduates with high ethical
standards, capable of providing quality services to industry, academia, research and mankind at large
and be the ambassadors for socio-economic growth of the nation.
2. To provide long-standing learning opportunities in pharmaceutical sciences.
3. To inculcate students, the knowledge and innovative practices to develop critical thinking, problem
solving abilities and leadership skills.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the program are established through a consultation process and these address the following broad aspects.

PEO 1: Knowledge: To imbibe the core and basic knowledge of theory and practical associated with profession of pharmacy.
PEO 2: Competence: To create graduates who would strive to deal with issues by applying professional skills that would mould them into a globally competent professional.
PEO 3: Breadth: To train students with good knowledge along with practical efficiency in formulation & development, Pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, synthesis, molecular modelling, isolation of phytochemicals and analytical aspects in research and design.
PEO 4: Preparation: The philosophy of the institute is to prepare students to excel and succeed in the profession wherever the student chose through innovative teaching methodologies that engage students in self-learning.
PEO 5: Professionalism: To inculcate in students professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, teamwork skills, multidisciplinary approach, and an ability to relate Pharmaceutical Sciences issues to broader social context. Respond to emerging and demanding challenges of pharmaceutical field with the ability of lifelong learning skills.
