Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)

A comprehensive 4-year (8 Semesters) undergraduate program designed to produce competent pharmaceutical scientists, drug development leaders, and registered pharmacists.

Program Scope

Graduates can enter core sectors such as formulation and development (F&D), quality assurance (QA), active pharmaceutical ingredient synthesis (API), pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, intellectual property, drug regulatory inspection, and clinical trials.

Year 1 (Semesters I & II)

Human Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Inorganic Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry.

Year 2 (Semesters III & IV)

Physical Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry I, Pharmacology I, Pharmacognosy.

Year 3 (Semesters V & VI)

Medicinal Chemistry II & III, Pharmacology II & III, Herbal Drug Technology, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Quality Assurance.

Year 4 (Semesters VII & VIII)

Instrumental Methods of Analysis, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Project Work & Electives.

Lateral Entry (To 3rd Semester)

Candidates who have passed D. Pharm from a PCI approved institution with minimum 45% marks are eligible for direct admission to the 2nd Year (3rd Semester) of the B.Pharm program through OJEE Lateral Entry counseling.
